I'm a pretty lazy girl so I keep 1 "special" cup in my room and pee in it during the night if I have to go (so I don't have to go all the way to the bathroom which happens to be only about 2 feet away from my room HAHA). ANYWAY, I have my cup and then every morning I'll take it to the bathroom, dump it and rinse it. Well even with all the rinsing I do theres still a build up of CRUD in the bottom of the cup so I got the idea to clean it out. I put hand soap and water in it and left it sit ALL day only to rinse it out really good and still have the build up in it!!! So I poured a little hydrogen peroxide in the cup and HOLY BALLS! It fizzed and got all foamy, and it crackling and making noise! Now it looks like shaving cream in the cup. Haha. That's all. I took a picture but it literally looks like white shaving cream.. Doesn't even look gross. |

I am going insane. I NEED blackheads to pop. I want to hijack a car and drive to Sonic and drug all of the teenagers there and go blackhead hunting, except I can't do that because it's 1:45 in the morning. I feel like a fucking maniac. |

Hello, TMIers.
For a bit of backstory, I suffer from chronic constipation. Needless to say, my bowels pretty much rule my life, along with a multitude of other issues. I've had this problem since I was born and it's only gotten worse the older I've gotten. Typically, I go to the bathroom once every two weeks, sometimes every three if I'm having a particularly stressful period in my life. So far, the only thing that's really been helpful in terms of easing my issues is taking over 60% of my daily fibre intake via pills that taste like ass + fifty billion gallons of water. Unfortunately, I've gotten so used to not being bothered with having to take a few extra minutes out of my day to tend to my bowels that I just stop taking the fibre since I really just can't be assed.
Needless to say, I am quite familiar with the feeling of having your asshole stretched open, anal fissures, and laxatives.
Anyhoo, onto the actual story.

i was just eating this muffin that my boyfriend bought from a supermarket's bakery.
they were called "morning glory muffins."
it tasted like a carrot cake and i was enjoying it until... i bit into it once more and in the center i found not a pebble, but a BOULDER of salt inside...
just a giant random ball of salt in the center. i bit into a piece of it and it filled my mouth with the flavour of the ocean.
i spat it out into a napkin and promptly washed my mouth out with water/coffee. |

My mum's dog is a lovely fella, but as a rescue he can be a little neurotic and needy. I was looking after him recently when she was away on holiday, and the first couple of days are always a little fretful for him.
This time, he demonstrated his fretting by chewing on his blankets - one sheepskin, and one microfleece blanket. Not the end of the world - I picked up the bits covering the floor and thought no more of it.
Until walking time.
He was straining to have a poo - squatting, shuffling along, arse 4 inches from the ground, then stopping, straining, waddling along a bit further and so on. I walked over to where he was, poo bag at the ready to clear up after him, and there was just a long strand of poo coated stuff hanging from his arse, and it wasn't coming out any further. So I grabbed it with the bag, tugged, and about 6 more inches of fleece blanket, coated in poo and mucus drags out of his arse, and makes me feel really quite unwell.
Finn didn't seem to particularly appreciate it, either.

A letter to the public in case I am murdered
I can't believe I'm about to turn 26. This has been the worst year of my life. Never did I think it was possible to receive so many threats against my life for attempting to create social change within a tiny subculture. Never did I think that I would get raped and that this would cause people in this tiny subculture to turn this traumatic experience into a joke.
Two weeks after I was raped this "big time producer" was threatening to have me gang raped. I guess he found it funny. I called the police and they said the same thing that they usually did. "We can't do anything because it's out of state." Of course it's out of state. It's a violent gang of neo-nazi's who have physically attacked me before. One of them set my clothes on fire and then violently beat the shit out of me. I was told that if I did anything about this I would be murdered.
These people aren't simply in New York. Or Los Angeles. Or Pittsburgh. They're scattered like fleas. It's not just internet drama. Quit saying that it's just internet drama. It's massive industry mobbing. It's playing with my life. It has happened at my own gigs. It has happened at clubs I've attended. My own mother has received death threats.
"Just ignore them." Just ignore threats against my life? Just ignore one attack after another? How is that supposed to solve anything? "Just focus on your music." I am focusing on my music but I'm afraid to release it. The better I do with my music the more these people attack me. "Just move on." I'm sorry but that's weak. How am I supposed to move on after all of this? Why should I? Would you?
People say that I'm making everything up and that I've gone psychotic. What have I made up? Even the police have looked at the evidence. They feel bad for me. That's what they say. "We feel bad for you but unfortunately there is nothing that we can do to help you." This is not a publicity stunt. It's the legal system unwilling to help me because this gang is scattered throughout this entire country: because there isn't enough money to be made in such a tiny industry: because I don't have enough money to give.
My friends are worried about me. They send me messages of support. They mean the world me. They tell me to keep going. That I shouldn't let these people bring me down. That they know what this is like. I have an entire army behind me but who is going to stop this gang from playing with my life? When is it going to end? Will it ever?
People say that by making posts like this I am "giving them what they want." Maybe yes and maybe no. Does that mean I don't have the right to express how I feel? People say that I am "playing victim." Where is the act? Where is the stage? I don't see myself playing anything.
All I want for my birthday is money. Maybe that sounds selfish but until I get a certain amount of money I will have no way of getting any legal assistance. I have exhausted every possible option. It all comes down to me not having enough money to receive legal help. What if they actually kill me? What if this could have been prevented by the authorities? Who will be to blame?
If I end up getting killed I will have this post as a final record of what has been going on. People will know the truth. The only thing I can hope is that the truth will not be drowned out by this violent gang that has been fucking with my life and career for the past 4 years. Even now I am afraid to say who they are. Yet many people know who they are. If I end up getting killed these people will go to jail for the rest of their lives. I don't want to get murdered (does anyone?) but these people definitely deserve to go to jail. Will they? Who knows? They seem to know how to manipulate the law pretty well. They have done this to other people. I'm definitely not the first. I would like to be the last but not at the expense of my own existence. |

Last night was Yael's first sleepover at our house. She's been to her cousin's apartment in New York and she's slept over at Saba and Savta's, but she's never had a friend stay over. So yesterday Isabelle came to play and then they had a sleepover. The girls were fairly good, as 4 1/2-year-olds go ;) I mean, they made poop jokes at dinner and kept coming out of Yael's bedroom at bed time, but...sleepover, y'know? They were asleep by 9, which I consider a miracle of biblical proportions.
My cough seems to finally be dying down, so I got a bit of sleep last night. Of course, Barak was up a few times and both girls woke up once, but it was still more sleep than I've had in weeks!
And I'm so excited about my Yuletide assignment that I've already got about 200 words. I think it's going to be slightly less plotty than my recipient might like in her ideal story, but it should have all the other elements she's looking for. I need to do a bit of canon review on some minor points, but I'm pretty sure I know where I'm going with it.
Now, since Avi has taken Barak, Yael, and Isabelle off to Isabelle's house, I'm going to take this opportunity to get some work done and clean up a bit. Whee! |

So many new faces to share all that great music with :] I couldnt be happier with this event, it makes all the time and effort put it so worthwhile, to see so many people having fun with something so different, something we thought only a small minority would get into
There are exciting plans for Isolation in the near future, I think summer will prove to be an important time for people into similar music to us, to the shiny crystal creatures shimmering under lights, alerted by the transients, shaken by the waves and humming to the harmonies!

I've been hearing a lot from Canadians these days. They think I'm "absolutely crazy" for opposing national health care. They go on at length about how perfectly content they are with paying higher taxes so they can get health care whenever they want it.
Content. Perfectly content. You know what I hear when I hear someone say that?

Yeah, cows are content, too. So long as it's not THEIR turn up on the butcher block. Moooooooo.
MOOOOOOO, eh? The world's great, everything's fine, Farmer Government gives you all the oats you can choke down and plenty of pasture to poop in. So who cares if it's all paid for with spare ribs of some other cow you don't know?
Remember the BOX? The original Twilight Zone short? the Box, big shiny button, push the button, get a million dollars--- and somebody you don't know dies.
There's a catch though, in the original version. If you push the button in the alloted time, then the box goes to someone else.... who doesn't know YOU.

I think karma got me. My BF got a ingrown toenail in July and I was always picking on him for it. Guess who got one this Sept. Yep.
I've mostly solved it myself I think, but there's this giant blood blister that keeps filling up and bursting and ruining my socks. >.<
Finally throwing in the towel and going to the doc. However, I thought you sickos might appreciate my swollen, purple and bloody toe. Right?

::flails:: Yuletide assignment!!!!
Okay, it's not in the one "OMG, WAS I HIGH WHEN I SIGNED UP?" fandom, so that's good. It's also not in a fandom I've written before (well, not exactly ::evil grin::), which is kind of nice. I will need to review some canon, but not a ton, so that's even better. (There were definitely a few things I signed up for, thinking "Oh, I have all the canon" but I didn't consider how much of it I might need to review :D)
Best of all, this will be a seriously fun story to write. I've got a good prompt, the kind that gives a few intriguing ideas without getting too specific. I'm about to go check my recipient's LJ/website and see if I can get some other ideas for the story. Then I'm going to go get my copies of the canon and stash them on the bookshelf up here, where they're easily accessible.

Okay, so. This past summer, my mom not only dropped something heavy on her toe, but she stubbed it hard on the coffee table as well. Drove the nail so far back as to damage the nail bed. I never got pictures of it right when it happened, but I've got two pictures of what it looks like now.
She's been "operating" on it for the past few days, clipping some of the dead skin/nail off.
